Graham Barton LLB FNAEA FARLA

Estate Agent

Graham grew up between Glengormley and Ballyclare and spent much of his formative years in the Office helping out and therefore is steeped in the estate agent's profession.

After attending Ballyclare High School, Graham read Law at The Queen's University of Belfast, graduating in 2007, with specialisations in Land and Property Law.

During his time at University he was involved in several projects including the Saintfield Festival. He was a Speaker of the Students' Representative Council of the Students Union, and a Postgraduates' Student Officer. He was also an Editor of PTQ (Pro Tanto Quid), the RAG charity joke magazine.

He joined the family business in late 2007, just before the start of the financial crisis, for which he takes no responsibility.

Graham has a Technical Award in The Sale of Residential Property from the NFOPP (The National Federation of Property Professionals Awarding Body), Level 3 Awards in Residential Sales and Residential Letting and Property Management & Level 4 Qualifications in Estate Agency Management from Propertymark.

He has a wide-ranging practice from Residential Sales and Lettings to Commercial and Property Intelligence. He is a Fellow of both the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).

Graham lives in Ballyclare. His favourite Star Trek series is The Next Generation.

She mainly liaises with clients and tradesmen for repairs and maintenance but is also involved with viewings, lettings and sales negotiations.

She has Level 3 awards from Propertymark in the Sale of Residential Property and in Residential Letting and Property Management.

E A Graham Barton

Maintenance Contractor (ABC Maintenance)

Growing up in Glengormley, the son of a Builder and an Estate Agent, Graham has a firm grasp of the local property market, and in the fabric of the homes themselves.

After a long career as an Inspector in Shorts, Graham moved into the family business of Joinery and Building, forming ABC Maintenance and Repair services. He carries out much of the work himself, and for larger projects works in a consulting or contractual capacity.

He lives in Parkgate, with his wife Amanda and is an avid fan of Chelsea Football Club. His favourite Start Trek series is The Next Generation.

Arleen Barton

Arleen Barton FNAEA (RET.)

Estate Consultant

Arleen started her career with Sir Brian Morton & Company, as a secretary at their head office in Belfast. She quickly moved into Agency herself, eventually becoming Assistant Manager of the Glengormley Branch under Ken Smith.

Arleen founded A Barton Company in November 1978, first in Ferbro Buildings, later moving to its own offices on the Antrim Road in the heart of Glengormley.

Arleen quickly gained an excellent reputation in the local area and was eventually appointed a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents in May 1991.

Understanding that the market was changing rapidly, and that the Private Letting sector was expanding, she set up the ABC Rental Centre in the mid 1990's. ABC quickly became the largest Letting Agent in Newtownabbey.

She is now retired; however, she consults on projects for some clients and manages some portfolios for others when her talents are required.

Her passions include making homemade greetings and birthday cards (which are on sale in the office from time to time), watching Shakespeare, shopping and spoiling her Grandchildren.

She lives in Doagh. Her favourite Star Trek show is The Original Series.
